The US is pushing China to increase rare earth exports in return for easing US export controls of chips. US inflation data will be released this afternoon and both headline and core consumer prices are expected to register slight increases. The US 10-year bond action later today will also be eagerly followed to test investors’ sentiment about the US economy.
